Chief Quiz Review – Fast Cash from Paid Surveys?

Chief Quiz Review – Easy Money or Survey Scam?

Note: We are not affiliates of Chief Quiz.

People love the idea of paid surveys.  There are millions of people who like the idea of trying to make money online, but paid surveys offer a way of cashing in that doesn’t require a lot of time or effort.  Unfortunately, most paid survey sites are scams.  A new entry in that market is Chief Quiz, which appears to be owned and operated by the same people who run Up Survey, Line Quiz, Tempo Quiz and others.

chief quiz reviewChief Quiz and all of these other sites work pretty much the same way.  They show you a brief commercial and then ask you some questions about it.  You answer them, and they put $18 in your account.  You can do this as often as four times a day and you can earn additional cash by referring some of your friends to the site.  That means you could earn thousands of dollars per week for just a few minutes of your time.  That sounds pretty tempting, so how does Chief Quiz work?  Read on for our full Chief Quiz review.

Chief Quiz Overview

Signing up for Chief Quiz is pretty simple; you give them a username, a password and your PayPal email address and you’re good to go.  There’s no email confirmation required; you just log in.  Then you click on the “Survey” button and you’ll be able to choose from four surveys.  To take a survey, you need to watch a short commercial, which usually runs about 30 seconds or so.  Then you take a short, 8 question survey, that asks you questions about the commercial you just saw.

Example questions:

  • Did you see this trade mark earlier?
  • Does the advertising video create a good impression about the company?
  • How do you treat to the goods by this producer?
  • Do you perceive this advertisement as original, new, and differ from the other some?
  • Should the company place this advertisement in the Internet?
  • Appreciate the degree of importance of the information you got
  • Can this advertisement help in involving of consumers?
  • How does this advertisement look compared with competitive producers?

That’s a lot of money for relatively little work.  Of course, it also sounds too good to be true.

If past results with Up Survey, Tempo Quiz and others are any indication, people who sign up with Chief Quiz aren’t going to be paid for their efforts.  The Chief Quiz home page details how much money they’ve supposedly paid out since their founding in 2013, but as I write this, the site is only three days old.   Since the Chief Quiz site is only a couple of days old, they can’t possibly have paid out any money to anyone.

The commercials they show as part of their surveys are old commercials that first aired on television months ago.  There’s no reason for any company to take surveys on old commercials; you do marketing surveys on your advertisements before you put them on the air.  There’s a reason for that.  Commercials are expensive to produce and before you spend a lot of money to create one, and millions of dollars to put it on the air, you want to test it and make sure that it’s going to work, and that the people who make up your target audience are going to like it and that it’s going to motivate them to buy your product.  That all happens before the ads run on TV.  There’s no reason to take surveys on commercials that are six months old.

chief quiz surveyAnother odd thing about Chief Quiz is that you’re likely to see the same commercials over and over.  You might see the same four commercials tomorrow that you saw today.  That’s pretty strange; if they got your opinion yesterday on a particular commercial, why would they want it again today?

Finally, the surveys ask questions that are of no use to anyone.   Before asking questions like the ones above, you need to know something about the people who are answering the questions.  Products have a target audience, so you want to make sure that the people you’re surveying are part of that audience.  If you’re trying to sell diapers, you don’t want to show your commercial to 65 year old men.  Any responsible survey company will ask questions about the people taking the survey before giving them the survey.  They’ll want to know who you are, where you live, how much education you have, how much you earn and other questions like that.  Chief Quiz asks no questions like that at all, which means that the questions they’re asking, and the answers you’re providing, are worthless to anyone.
