may pay pot reviewHow would you like to earn $1500 per week for doing almost no work?  That’s what My Pay Pot claims you can earn at their site.  Not only that, but you get $25 added to your account just for signing up.  What’s it all about?  The site claims that they’re basically paying you to advertise and that they’ll make money from the people you send to the site.

Sounds interesting, so I thought I’d have a look and see what My Pay Pot is about.  Is My Pay Pot a scam, or can you really make money with it?  Read on for the full My Pay Pot review.

My Pay Pot Overview

My Pay Pot seems to be run by the same people who run The Huge Pay, which is a site that I recently reviewed.  The sites are virtually identical, aside from the names and the logos.

It just takes a minute to sign up at My Pay Pot, and they won’t even validate your email address.  Just give them a username, a password and an email address, and you’ll be signed up and logged in.  Once you log in, you’ll see that you have $25 in your account already, and that you have to earn $300 before you can cash out.

So, how do you earn this money?  When you join My Pay Pot, you will be given a special link.  All you have to do, they say, is post that link in forums and on social media sites in order to get other people to click on it and visit My Pay Pot themselves.  Every time someone clicks on your special link and signs up there, you will have $10 added to your account.

Once you have $300 in your account, you can request a payout, and they say that they will pay by PayPal, Payza, Moneygram, Moneybookers, a bank transfer, or a good old-fashioned check (or cheque, if you’re living outside the U.S.)

That’s it?  All you have to do is share the link?  Why are they doing this?

my pay pot scamAccording to their FAQ page, My Pay Pot is doing this to get revenue from their advertisers, and that will happen if a bunch of people visit their site.  That’s a bit odd, since there don’t seem to be an ads on their site.  How are they making money?  Why would they pay you to send traffic to a site that otherwise seems to have no way of generating revenue?

That’s a good question, and there’s a simple answer: THEY WILL NOT PAY YOU.

That’s pretty much it in a nutshell.  The people who own My Pay Pot are promising that you can earn a lot of money, and yes, for every person who clicks your link and signs up you will see another $10 added to your account balance.  That part of the site works, and they do keep track of the amount of money that they supposedly owe you.

The problem is that they aren’t going to pay you.   That’s just an empty promise.  They’re just tricking you into trying to get people to visit their site and getting you to do it for free.

So, why do they want people to visit their site?  Because they do make money when you try to cash out.  When you have at least $300 in your account balance, you can click the link requesting payment, and when you click that link, you’ll be taken to a new page where you’ll be asked to complete a survey or provide some personal information in exchange for getting a free gift card or in exchange for some other item, such as free socks or a chance to win an iPhone.

Most of the people who encounter this offer when they try to cash out go ahead and do it, because they’ve already invested time and effort into trying to get a bunch of people to click their My Pay Pot link.  They just figure that it’s one more tiny obstacle in the way of getting paid.

The problem, however, is that getting you to fill out that offer is the entire reason that My Pay Pot exists.  When you fill out that offer for a free whatever, the people who own My Pay Pot earn a few dollars.  By getting people like you to share the link, they might be having hundreds or even thousands of people trying to cash out every day, and they make money from every single one of those people who fills out those offers.

my pay pot ripoffThat adds up to a lot of money in a hurry…for them.  Unfortunately, it doesn’t add up to any money for you, because, as I’ve already said, My Pay Pot will not pay you.  You’re working for them, and you’re working for free.

I’ve written a lot of reviews about sites like this, because the money they’re offering sounds too good to be true and because every time one of these sites pops up, people get excited about it and start talking about it with their friends.

These sites are popular, and every time I write one of these reviews, the review gets read hundreds of times.  Every time, I say the same thing – you’re not going to get paid.  Every time, people post comments complaining to me that they’ve done everything asked of them and they haven’t been paid and they want me to explain why.

Or, they want me to pay them.  I have nothing to do with My Pay Pot.  It’s not my site.  I don’t know anything about it other than what I’ve already told you.

My Pay Pot Conclusion

Can you earn $1500 per week with My Pay Pot?  No, you can’t, because they’re not going to pay you regardless of how many people you send to their site.  It’s a waste of time, and you shouldn’t go there or sign up or have anything to do with the site at all.

If you want to earn money, there are better ways to do it than signing up at My Pay Pot and I suggest that you try those methods instead.

As I said, My Pay Pot is a complete waste of time and I’d stay away.

My Pay Pot is not recommended.  At all.
