News Zonal Review – Do They Pay?
If there’s one thing that’s guaranteed to attract the attention of people on the Internet, it’s the lure of easy money. That’s what News Zonal is offering; they claim that they’ll pay you $5 for every news article you read. That sounds like fun, and perhaps it’s easy, too. They’ll let you read up to 35 articles per day, so you can earn up to $175 daily. You can earn even more with the News Zonal referral program, making it possible to rack up a couple of thousand dollars per week if you know a few people who would like to join News Zonal along with you.
News Zonal is a site that seems to be owned by the same people that own dozens of other paid survey sites and paid news sites, and it looks much the same way and works the same way as the others. You sign up, read a news article, answer a question to prove you’re a human and you have money added to your account balance. Does it work? Is News Zonal a scam? Read on for the full News Zonal review.
News Zonal Overview
It’s easy to sign up with News Zonal, you just give them an email address and a password and you’re automatically logged in. Then you can start earning money by clicking on the “read news” link at the top of the page. You’ll see a list of news articles, along with the time they were posted to the site and the amount of money you can earn by reading each one. Just click on an article’s title to read it, and you’ll see it on the next page. When you’re done reading, you click “confirm” and you’ll then see a math problem that you need to solve to prove that you’re a human and not a robot. Once you have done that, you will have $5 added to your account balance. The site says that articles pay between $5 and $9 each, but when I was there every article was listed as offering $5.
The News Zonal referral program allows you to earn even more, as you will receive a bonus for referring friends to the News Zonal site. They give you a special link to provide to your friends and family and they suggest that you list the link on Craigslist or Facebook to get as many people as possible to sign up. Other sites have offered $35 or $40 for referrals, but News Zonal is offering $150 for each person you refer, plus 20% of the amount that each of your friends earn when they read news articles at News Zonal. That means that it’s likely possible to earn several thousand dollars per week on the site, and you can even earn money without being there if you refer friends to the site.
The site is easy to use and the News Zonal site says you can get paid via PayPal or Payza once your balance reaches $2300. It will take 14 days to get paid, but you won’t have to wait if you refer five friends to the site.
That all sounds great. In fact, it sounds too good to be true. It’s just too easy to make money this way, so there must be a hitch. There is, of course. The hitch is this – News Zonal isn’t going to pay you.
There are a number of things that should arouse suspicion with anyone paying attention to the site. The site says that they are paid by “news media” to find people to read news articles and that they’re going to pass most of that money on to you. That’s fine, but why would a news agency pay people to read news? What does a news agency do to make money? They sell news. No news agency is going to pay people to read their articles when they want people to pay them instead. Not only that, but the articles aren’t articles at all. They’re just a headline and maybe one more sentence.
Here’s a sample News Zonal headline and article:
Apple unveils iPad Pro and Apple TV
Apple unveils a larger iPad, an app-centric TV set-top box and new iPhones at a launch event in San Francisco.
That’s it. That’s the entire article. There’s no image, there’s no additional text, and there isn’t even a link you can click on if you want to read more. There’s nothing else. So why would anyone want to pay you $5 to read that, especially if they weren’t even going to get a visitor to their Website from it? It makes no sense.
What’s really going on with News Zonal?
It’s hard to know exactly what News Zonal is about, but we can guess. They do run ads on their sites, so it’s likely that they’re simply attracting people to the site by offering cash for doing no work and they’re hoping you’ll click on an ad while you’re there. They have a lot of sites and they probably get tens of thousands of visitors per day to all of their combined sites, so they could be making a lot of money from advertising.
News Zonal could also be collecting email addresses and either using them to send out spam marketing messages or selling the email addresses to spammers. I don’t know, but whenever I sign up to one of these sites to review them, I always use a fake email address, just to be safe.
News Zonal could also be collecting PayPal addresses and attempting to hack PayPal accounts. There’s no way of knowing, but if they have a collection of thousands of valid PayPal addresses, it’s likely that they’re either trying to hack those accounts or they’re selling those addresses to someone who will try to hack them.
News Zonal Summary
Is News Zonal a scam? Yes, and you’re wasting your time if you sign up there because they aren’t going to pay you. It’s possible to make money online, but you’re not going to be able to do that by reading news articles. If you’re really interested in making money online, you should skip News Zonal and visit Wealthy Affiliate instead. This site is honest and will show you how to earn money online in legitimate ways. That beats trying to get cash out of some people in Eastern Europe who have no intention of paying you.
News Zonal is not recommended.
