Read on for the full The Bitcoin Code review.

The Bitcoin Code Overview

If you aren’t familiar with Bitcoin, it’s a virtual currency developed about 8 or 9 years ago by a mysterious person who called himself Satoshi Nakamoto.  It has been determined that no such person exists, and people today wonder who the creator of this virtual currency might be.

Bitcoin can be used just like regular money, but it’s all computer code.  There is no cash that you can actually hold in your hand.  Transactions take place with the help of computers, and you can exchange Bitcoin with individuals or businesses online just like you would exchange dollars or yen or euros.

When it was first introduced, the value of a single Bitcoin was a fraction of a penny, but now the value of just one Bitcoin is more than $5000!  Like any currency, the value of Bitcoin fluctuates throughout the day and from country to country, so there is money to be made in trading the currency just like you would trade stocks, gold, or dollars.

What Steve McKay says you can do with the software he gives you with The Bitcoin Code is use it to automatically trade Bitcoin in the market 24 hours a day without having to do any work.  You just set the software up, invest a minimum of $250 with the recommended trading broker, and sit back and let the software do the work.

the bitcoin code scamAccording to The Bitcoin Code Website, you are guaranteed to earn $13,000 per day.  And even better, you can sign up for free.  The introductory video has glowing testimonials from people who say that they have earned hundreds of thousands of dollars from The Bitcoin Code and that you should sign up.

You can sign up initially by giving them an email address, but once you do that, you’ll be taken to The Bitcoin Code members area.  There, you’ll have to sign up again and this time, you’ll have to provide your name, your email address, a password and a phone number.

Once you do that, you’ll have access to the dashboard to use the software.  The Bitcoin Code software won’t work, however, until you have first deposited a minimum of $250 into an account with the “recommended” trading broker that The Bitcoin Code software uses.  Steve McKay says that in order to make money with the software you first have to have some money to buy and sell with.

Can you really make money with The Bitcoin Code?

No, you cannot.  There is a lot wrong with The Bitcoin Code, and if I were to write about all of it, I’d be writing all day.  I’ll explain what’s going on, but first of all, let’s get this out of the way:

The Bitcoin Code does not work.

OK, so if The Bitcoin Code does not work, then what’s going on?

the bitcoin code freeWhat’s going on is that the entire point of creating The Bitcoin Code Website is to get you to sign up with a trading broker.  That’s it.  It’s not about making millions or testing the software (McKay says that he’s giving the software away as part of a “beta test.)

No, the entire point is to get you to open an account with a brokerage and to get you to give them a deposit of at least $250.  Not only that, but the brokerage with which you’ll be signing up doesn’t even trade Bitcoin.  Instead, you’ll be signing up with a company that trades binary options when you join The Bitcoin Code.

Why are they trying to get you to sign up with a broker?  The market for binary options trading is very competitive, and brokers are always eager to find new customers.  That’s because hardly anyone makes money trading binary options, which is a very risky investment, and one that is not well regulated by the governments of most countries.

The brokers only make money when people are investing and trading; they don’t make money from people who are broke.  So they need new customers and they need them on a regular basis and they want them badly.

How badly?  Badly enough to pay hundreds of dollars in commission for every new customer that someone will bring to them.   The creator of The Bitcoin Code is simply an affiliate for their recommended broker, and every time they can deliver a new customer who will sign up and deposit at least $250, the owner of of The Bitcoin Code will himself receive a commission of somewhere between $200-$500.

That’s what the software is about.  The software doesn’t actually work, and if you join, make a deposit and try the software, you’re going to watch your initial $250 go away very quickly.

What happens then?  That’s when the broker will call you on the phone and encourage you to invest more money with them.  They will call you often and they will encourage you to spend as munch money as you can with them.  They will be relentless and you will quickly grow tired of receiving phone calls from this broker.

Pros and Cons of The Bitcoin Code

  • Free to join
  • Promises of huge earnings

  • Software doesn’t work
  • The “free” software will cost you $250 to try
  • Brokers will hound you endlessly for more money

By the way, the Website for The Bitcoin Code has a link at the bottom of the page that says “Disclaimer.”  If you click on it, you will see some text that reads, in part:

‘The Bitcoin Code’ sales videois fictitious and was produced to portray the potential of ‘The Bitcoin Code’ 3rd party signals software. Actors have been used to present this opportunity and it should be viewed for entertainment purposes. We do not guarantee income or success, and example results in the video and anywhere else on this website do not represent an indication of future success or earnings.

The disclaimer also goes on to mention that the entire product involves binary options, rather than Bitcoin, but I guess calling the product “The Binary Options Code” sounds a lot less edgy than calling it.

The Bitcoin Code Summary

the bitcoin code- thumbs downCan you make money by signing up for The Bitcoin Code? No.  It’s just a scam to get you to join a binary options brokerage and give them a minimum of $250.  You will not make money with the software, because it doesn’t work.

The people who claim they’ve made a bunch of money with it are paid actors.  If you’re looking for a way to make money online, there are better ways to do it than by trying The Bitcoin Code.

The Bitcoin Code is not recommended.
